Poor Tsubaki.
As a character she’s so cool, but they gave her like nothing to work with in Extend. Her moves are all awesome and she’s relatively straightforward to play which is nice, but her damage output is horrible. There are characters who can do like 4k meterless off of a random j.C but Tsubaki can barely do 3k. I’d like to sub her but it’ll be difficult when I play against people who are good at the game. Sad days.
Not that many characters can pull off that much damageoff a random hit unless you’re talkin near corner on CH or something. But yeah, Konan winning SBO last time really showed what potential Tsubaki had and they just won’t having that.
The overall damage nerf affected a lot of characters, but not necessarily in a bad way. For instance, I main Litchi, so instead of focusing on damage I prioritized corner carry and oki. You just gotta adapt and use your characters’ strong points. Like Tsubaki’s ill rushdown. Damage ruled everything back in CS1/2 but now I can tell they want us to focus on each character’s individual qualities.
